Olio della rocca

 

Olio della rocca is a Sicilian olive oil producer. It bought its first olive groves in 1911 in the village of Allessandria della Rocca. In 2023, it is rethinking its offer and wants to redefine its brand image.

The branding is based on three universes: the land, excellence and the history of this family business.

The earth represents Mediterranean culture, with its links to the agricultural environment, traditional skills and the proximity to the customer, who will attach importance to Provence and the origin of this product. In a broader sense, it illustrates the olive. Excellence, on the other hand, represents the high quality taste of this rare and healthy product, which is firmly rooted in Western and urban culture. More broadly, excellence illustrates the oil in all its historical symbolism. Added to these two notions is the history of this company: a Swiss family with a Sicilian cultural and family heritage dating back to 1911. They wanted to bring it up to date with new prospects for development.

The graphic design combines the world of the land (Sicily) with that of contemporary finesse and elegance (Switzerland). This combination is reflected in the typographic, colour, pictographic and photographic choices…

To reflect the brand’s name and the number of partners, the visual identity plays with the number 3 in all its compositional rules. It is light, airy, slender, minimalist, flexible and contemporary.
