Chance doesn’t exist

A contemporary version of Mallarmé’s poem ‘Un coup de dés jamais n’abolira le hasard’ (A throw of the dice will never abolish chance), using a code linked to chance.

In the form of a story and a typographic game, the words relating to chance are displayed in random mode when the mouse is clicked, then trigger concentric waves. In a nod to the typographic composition of the poem, the three blocks of vertical lines take over the space, generating moving curves whose shape and colour are displayed in random mode (255 colours).
